Turkish Airlines placed fifteenth in European airline ranking for passenger revenue. AirAdvisor compared twenty-three airlines in Europe using the RASK revenue metric.
RASK measures passenger revenue per available seat kilometer across airline operations.
Ranking considered ticket sales as well as baggage, seat selection, and ancillary fees. Widerøe, based in Norway, achieved the highest RASK value among all competitors.
British Airways and Air France followed, placing in second and third rank, respectively. Low-cost carriers like Wizz Air ranked lowest due to smaller passenger-based revenues.
