Belgium Tightens Customs Rules for Small Parcels from Outside the EU

Belgium prepares new customs rules for small parcels from outside the EUBelgium's FOD Financiën announced customs rules for online shopping outside the EU.

The rules officially take effect on November first, two thousand twenty six.

Parcels under one hundred fifty euros face three euros duty per category. Every shipment also carries a two euro handling fee regardless of value.

Shipments above one hundred fifty euros face regular import taxes per category. Officials say measures aim to boost control, consumer safety, and fair competition.
