French police seized drugs and contraband cigarettes during three separate operations recently. In Troyes, officers found cannabis inside a parked vehicle over the weekend.
One suspect was detained while investigators continue examining the case thoroughly today.
In Mantes-la-Jolie, police uncovered a smuggling network after months of careful investigation. Officers arrested three people and seized hundreds of smuggled cigarette packets there.
Police also confiscated cash, cartons, and tobacco stock from the suspect's car. In Carpentras, a woman quickly reported suspicious bags in her rented apartment.
