Belgium records a new peak in student worker employment this year overall. Unizo and Liantis released figures Friday showing a record total for students.
Roughly six hundred forty nine thousand students worked, surpassing the previous record.
Last year's total grew by roughly five thousand additional young workers overall. Workers aged eighteen to twenty formed the largest group across the country.
Women make up fifty three point three percent of student workers nationwide. Union leaders urged preserving the system, which offers both experience and flexibility.
