This amount surpassed the five-year average by more than one hundred percent. Authorities noted Thursday’s and Friday’s consumption already showed sharp increases overall.
Previous record was set in June two thousand twenty-three, now exceeded significantly. Despite high demand, drinking water supply remains steady; public urged conscious water use.
