Start to Bike Event in Brussels, Belgium, Held Despite Storm

Start to Bike event goes ahead in Laeken, Brussels, despite the storm. Yesterday's powerful storm could not stop today's cycling initiative from happening entirely.

Polbru teams and their Bikers unit police officers joined the event enthusiastically.

The project helps children and adults, with or without disabilities, learn cycling. Participants practice riding safely in the park and throughout the city streets.

Officials believe such events strengthen communication among diverse social groups and residents. The initiative is expected to continue in the coming months and years.
