Bulgaria seizes thousands of smuggled goods at its Turkish border crossings todayOfficers discovered untaxed cigarettes, perfume, clothing, and jewelry in several smuggling vehicles.

Tips from the Intergovernmental Coordination Center triggered these inspections across the country. Eleven smuggling attempts were stopped at one crossing during the last week.

Officials seized about eighty thousand untaxed cigarette packs during monthly nationwide inspections. Authorities issued thirteen violation reports while monitoring risky vehicles around the clock.
