Service sector rose slightly, while industry and construction sectors both contracted significantly. Public investments fell sharply, but household consumption increased modestly during the period.

Positive contribution to growth came from net exports, alleviating deeper economic difficulties somewhat. Employment rose modestly, far below previous surges seen in earlier quarterly recoveries.
