France Sees Rising Number of Workers Employed in Belgium in Recent Years

France experiences significant increase in residents working across the border in Belgium. Human resources firm SD Worx analyzed official cross-border employment insurance data carefully.

By mid-twenty twenty-five, nearly fifty-two thousand cross-border employees work in Belgium.

Around forty thousand employees come from France, while others originate from neighboring countries. Most French workers find employment within Hainaut and Namur regions in Belgium's territory.

Over three thousand French workers live in West Flanders, fewer in East Flanders. More than eighty-five thousand Belgians are employed abroad, many in Luxembourg and Netherlands.
