Serbia ends massive forest fire in Deliblato Sands after fifty-two days. Fire began on August second in northeastern Serbia, burning relentlessly for weeks.

Interior Minister Dacic called it one of Serbia's hardest, biggest fires ever.

No casualties were reported, despite the fire's size and long duration. More than five hundred sixty firefighters with one hundred seventy engines responded tirelessly.

European Union countries Czechia, Slovakia, and Romania all contributed vital firefighting support. Minister Dacic expressed gratitude to all crews after the successful suppression efforts.
