Demand for food bank support surges again throughout the Netherlands recently. New report finds more people now rely on food banks for survival.

Working poor, self-employed, and pensioners top the list of new beneficiaries.

Nationwide, one hundred eighty-one locations provided critical support to Dutch citizens. Compared to last year, approximately eleven thousand more people needed assistance.

Despite increases, support numbers remain below levels from previous two years. Authorities warn that future demand could climb as supermarket donations shrink further.
