Bulgaria's Prime Minister Rumen Radev asks European Union for stronger migration help. Radev says protecting Europe's external borders is critically important for everyone's security.

Frontline member states, he stressed, deserve genuine solidarity and concrete practical support.

Speaking in Brussels during a high level migration meeting, he urged cooperation. Radev argued that partnership with migrant source countries would produce lasting results.

Making return mechanisms more effective was described today as an absolute necessity. Irregular entries fell seventy percent, while shelter occupancy dropped to eighteen percent.
