Belgium conducted a major public transportation security operation in Walloon Region. Federal Police and ten local zones implemented security at stations and vehicles.
Authorities checked four hundred twenty-eight people, one hundred ten buses, nineteen vehicles.
Twelve people were found with drugs; police confiscated money and weapon. Judicial and administrative detentions were carried out during the wide-ranging operation.
Securail and TEC collaborated, checking nearly two thousand seven hundred more individuals. Fines were issued to passengers without valid tickets on trains and buses.
