Anti-Muslim cases in Germany reach concerning levels, alarming many citizens nationwide. A recent report counted over four thousand incidents targeting Muslims during twenty twenty-five.
Most recorded incidents involved verbal abuse, but discrimination and physical violence also increased steadily.
Many incidents affecting Muslim women and mosques remain unreported due to fear or distrust. The report notes two fatalities, four severe injuries, and five arson attacks occurred.
Alliance leader Rima Hanano emphasized victims fear reporting incidents, remaining largely silent overall. She called on Germany's government to urgently address growing anti-Muslim violence and discrimination.
