Social gas tariffs in Belgium will increase by fifteen percent soon. Creg announced new social gas prices effective from early July until September.

Third quarter increases apply both to heating and residential natural gas consumption rates.

Creg set maximum social gas prices at five point four five eight euro-cents. Social electricity tariffs will climb by roughly one point four percent on average.

Higher day rates expected; nighttime and nocturnal rates slightly dropping this quarter. Officials cite regional and global markets but capped hikes help limit consumer impact.
