Diesel prices in Belgium are rising, reaching another significant new threshold nationwide. According to the Ministry of Economy, new tariffs will be implemented this Thursday.

Drivers are now required to pay more to fill their vehicle fuel tanks.

Diesel prices last peaked in early April following a sharp seasonal increase previously. There have been three separate price hikes during the past week across Belgium.

Current pump prices still remain much higher than before major international armed conflicts. This week's gasoline price increases affected only Wednesday, with Thursday remaining unchanged.
