Flight and package tour prices have risen sharply across Germany this year. Summer travelers face higher expenses as both domestic and international flight fares soar.
Ticket prices for Europe and Central America are especially experiencing noticeable increases everywhere.
Business and economy class tickets to distant locations have also seen price hikes. Package tours became costlier for Egypt, Canary Islands, Balearic Islands and Türkiye visitors.
The conflict in Iran and Hormuz Strait restrictions have pushed up kerosene costs. Airlines are passing increased operational costs on to travelers through raised ticket prices now.
