European Union shows progress combating invasive species, per new environmental agency report findings. The report highlights major developments thanks to efforts across European Union member nations.

Over three hundred rapid eradication operations were conducted, with most partially or fully successful.

More than four thousand long-term management measures positively impacted ecological damage reduction efforts. Invasive species remain widespread, particularly in cities and southern and western European regions.
