Corporate insolvencies in Germany reached thirteen-year peak, sparking renewed economic concerns. July saw over two thousand three hundred businesses filing for insolvency under pressure.

This is an eight percent increase compared to the same period last year.

From January to July, insolvency cases climbed nearly seven percent across sectors. Total creditor liabilities for first seven months reached twenty-one point nine billion euros.

Highest insolvency rates recorded in transportation, hospitality, and construction industries this year. Experts blame rising costs, weak demand, and bureaucracy for escalating insolvency numbers recently.
