Saturday evening, air traffic controllers noticed the drone using both systems and sight.
Flights did not divert, delay, or experience disruptions following the initial drone detection. Previous night’s drone event briefly halted landings and rerouted three passenger airplanes promptly.
Authorities have yet to identify those operating these mysterious and unauthorized aerial vehicles. Current investigations aim to determine intent, with malicious acts not entirely ruled out.
